Instant Vintage: when Télé Star met Lova Moor at Crazy Horse Paris in 1985


At the start of 2022, Télé Star decided to put Lova Moor in the spotlight, by extracting from its archives photos of the former magazine leader on the Crazy Horse Paris scene, around 1985.

Real star of the small screen in the 90s, Lova Moor first became known as a magazine leader in an establishment that is a real institution in Paris: the Crazy Horse. Baptized Marie-Claude Jourdain at the time of her birth on March 5, 1946 in La Grève-sur-Mignon, located in Charente-Maritime, she is the 3rd child of a modest family with 4 toddlers. Having lost her father quite young, the future Lova Moor began studies with the aim of becoming a special educator for children in difficulty, although her dream is to become a dancer.

It is finally by indulging in her passion for dance, within a disco, that she is spotted by a Crazy Horse choreographer. Invited to try out in the famous Parisian cabaret, Marie-Claude Jourdain was hired by Alain Bernardin. This is when the latter decides to rename it Lova Moor. Beginning her career as a nude dancer, she quickly became a magazine leader in Crazy Horse Paris. She will also appear for the first time in the cinema when German director Alfred Weidenmannfait made a film about this must-see establishment in the French capital.

Lova Moor: performer of the timeless hit Et je danse

After seeing her fame grow with the public, Lova Moor will multiply her appearances at the cinema, and will even launch into the song, while pursuing her dancing career with Crazy Horse Paris. And i dance His most famous hit is still to this day. Lova Moor will then start a career on the small screen in the early 90s. She participates in particular in the cult show Sacred evening, presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault on TF1, but also to Big heads by Philippe Bouvard, whether on radio or on television. In terms of privacy, Lova Moor married Alain Bernardin in 1985. The magazine leader also released her autobiography in 2003. Recently, she appeared in 2013 in the documentary Legendary cabarets, in which she was interviewed by Mireille Dumas.
