A key figure in French cinema for several decades now, Thierry Lhermitte has played in many cult comedies during his career. In this film, Thierry Lhermitte once again plays the role of the entire cast of Le Splendid (Christian KeyboardGérard Jugnot, Michel Blanc, Marie-Anne Chazel and Josiane Balasko), with whom he started on the boards of the eponymous theater in the 70s.
