In line with HPI, Astrid and Raphaëlle, Mentalist or Castle, the TV movie directed by Myriam Vinocour (Marianne), broadcast this Friday February 3 at 9:10 p.m., tells the story of an ill-matched duo forced to collaborate to solve a case. thorny.
On the one hand, there is Ana Kerjouan (Charlie Bruneau), captain of the SRPJ of Nantes, both rational and perfectionist, whose authority, rigor and patience are known to all. And on the other Teva Royer, police lieutenant in Cayenne, who survived alone in the jungle for seven months when he was just a child, and thus developed an extraordinary sensory acuity which he uses since in his work. Because no emotion, no smell, no movement escapes him.
When the lifeless body of Isis Le Cam, daughter of a real estate magnate he knows well, is found in Nantes, Teva is dispatched to France to assist Ana Kerjouan’s team. The start of an investigation which, given the diametrically opposed methods of the two cops, is bound to spark some sparks.
A TV movie thought as the pilot of a future series
Filmed last fall, A l’instinct is a “declinable unit”, that is to say a pilot which serves as a test for France 2 with a view to making the adventures of Teva Royer a new police series composed of 90-minute episodes, in the style of César Wagner or Crime suits him so well with Claudia Tagbo, of which two to three episodes are broadcast each year.
Information confirmed to us a few months ago by Anne Holmes, director of programs and director of fiction at France Télévisions:
“With Instinct, we wanted to develop a new genre. It’s a man who lived in the forest, a bit like Tarzan, and who will have a sharper instinct than someone else. We He’s not into the supernatural, but he sees things, he hears things. He’s not a mentalist, he really works on instinct.”.
