Coumba Baradji, adventurer from Koh-Lanta, faces a wave of insults on social networks. This Sunday, October 17, she announced that she was going to take legal action.

She says stop. While this season of Koh-Lanta La Légende is eventful and rich in strategies, Coumba’s behavior is highly commented on on social networks. Indeed, at the beginning of the adventure, the athlete advocated a 100% female alliance while the candidates were separated between men and women. But when mixed teams formed, Coumba changed his tune by eliminating Candice. She then sounded the death knell for the feminine alliance.

Since the broadcast of these episodes, the adventurer has been the subject of insults and a wave of harassment on social networks. Sunday, October 17, she explained on Instagram her intention to file a complaint. “I made a screenshot of all the insults and I will file a complaint tomorrow,” she said on the social network, revealing in passing a few hate messages she received. “We can not agree with my attitude, with my choices and my decisions but from there to insult I find it strong. Insults have no place especially in a show like Koh-Lanta ”, she continued.

Coumba receives support from other adventurers

Coumba made a point of mentioning that a law punishes online harassment. She was also able to count on the support of her adventure comrades, Alix, Christelle, Jade, Clémence and even Claude. On Instagram, they took the floor to recall that a public insult “is repressed by the law of 1881 which punishes it with a fine of 12,000 euros.”

For his part, Denis Brogniart condemned “insults, threats and often anonymous hate messages.” Coumba explained his desire to want to file a complaint to show people who are victims of cyber-harassment that they are not alone. “As a public figure, I have to denounce this kind of behavior,” she insisted.
