Unsurprisingly, the Arc A350M GPU will be limited to graphics cards entry-level for fairly “basic” video games.

While we expected a worldwide release, Arc Alchemist is currently only available in South Korea, through Samsung’s Galaxy Book2 Pro. It is difficult for us to offer you a test, but several Korean sites give us some details.

More beefy than a GeForce MX450: phew!

While waiting to be able to carry out our own measurements, we therefore relay the conclusions of certain colleagues such as the Jeoljit Research Institute cited by Videocardz.

Their tester took a Samsung laptop with a Core i5-1240P (12 cores / 16 threads), supported by 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and relying on a 1080p 60 Hz AMOLED display. Of course, the graphics solution was based on Arc Alchemist, an A350M with 4 GB of VRAM.

This is the beginning of the Arc range and obviously we should not expect miracles. The GPU is in front of the GeForce MX450 card with a TDP of 25 W, but remains behind a GTX 1650 with 50 W of TDP.

On 3DMarkthe difficulties of Intel’s GPU are clear, but it is able to run games as light as League of Legends (~100 fps) or Overwatch (~70 fps). On the other hand, titles like Forza Horizon 5 Where Call of Duty Cold War simply refuse to go.
