One by one, all models of graphics cards Intel Arc Alchemist are finally coming out of the woodwork.

If it is very late on the first schedules advanced last year, Intel seems to be on the right track and while the Arc A380s are on pre-order in China, it is another model that we are discovering today.

A mysterious card

From the Arc Alchemist range for desktop PCs, we have already had many echoes of the Arc A380, this entry-level model that is still difficult to oppose to a GeForce GTX 1650.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Arc A750 also benefited from fairly wide coverage from Intel, which notably presented the results of its card on around fifty games, opposing it to the RTX 3060.

Today, it’s the intermediate model that makes people talk, the only representative of the Arc A5xx range, the A580. The card has a GPU with 16 Xe Cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 on 128-bit bus.

At the level of a GeForce RTX 3050?

On paper, the Arc A580 is therefore far from a monster of power and the first results seen thanks to the database ofAshes of the Singularity tend to confirm this.

Stardock’s game is often used to benchmark CPU and GPU performance. There, while the definition is set at 1080p, the Arc A580 reaches an average of 95 frames per second with a maximum of 110 fps on the “normal” test and 78 fps on the “heavy” test.

While the platform was equipped with a mysterious 16 processor threads and 32 GB of RAM, this score allows it to approach the GeForce RTX 3050. It is therefore not a bad result in itself and everything will of course depend on Intel’s price positioning.
