If it is not yet a question of desktop models, the first graphics cards
Arc Alchemist will finally be presented.
At last ! While Intel has been stalling us for several months with multiple announcements around its return to the dedicated graphics card market, we finally have a precise date.
The A370m GPU takes center stage
The American has therefore planned an event around its Arc Alchemist GPUs on March 30. Vice-president of Intel, it is Lisa Pearce herself who gives us an appointment for a presentation which will be above all focused on solutions for portables however.
This is not a surprise insofar as Intel had already specified that the release of Arc Alchemist would be done in two stages with, first, the mobile solutions and, then, the cards intended for PCs. desktop. On March 30, it will therefore only be a question of laptops and the emphasis will thus be placed on the A370m GPU which, according to Intel, offers twice the performance of an integrated Intel Xe solution.
” The first Intel Arc discrete graphics products to enter the mobile market will deliver up to 2x the graphics performance of integrated graphics solutions alone while maintaining similar form factors […] After that, you will see Intel Arc configurations for notebooks and desktops that increase the level of performance for gamers and creators. More details and exact specs will be shared soon “.
