Intel’s NUC 12 Pro “Wall Street Canyon” are hitting the SimplyNUC reseller site. These new mini PCs rely on the latest low-power Intel Alder Lake chips to primarily target business users.

Intel is expanding its mini-PC offer with its new “Wall Street Canyon” NUC 12 Pro. Designed primarily for professional users and the industry sector, these new models are currently available in two configurations listed at SimplyNUC. Other options should come later.

Low-power Alder Lake chips in a small package

At Simply NUC, the NUC 12 Pro is available in i5-1240P and i7-1260P versions. Either way, these 28W Alder Lake chips are paired with just 4GB of DDR4 and 256GB of M.2 SSDs. The retailer, however, mentions the imminent arrival of more options. In any case, on the GPU level, it will be necessary to be satisfied with the Iris Xe solution integrated into Intel processors.

The specialized site FanlessTech details for its part the entire technical sheet of the NUC 12 Pro, with more details. There we find as follows:

  • Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors of 12e generation or Core i5/i7 Intel vPro Enterprise;
  • up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 in dual-channel;
  • an Iris Xe graphics or Intel UHD graphics graphics part, depending on the CPU chosen;
  • two M.2 PCIe x4 Gen 4 NVMe slots;
  • two Thunderbolt 4 ports;
  • three USB 3.2 ports and one USB 2.0 port;
  • two HDMI 2.1 outputs;
  • one Intel i225-V 2.5 Gbps Ethernet input;
  • an Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (Gig+) modem;
  • a second Ethernet port for larger models;
  • a three-year warranty.

Between 600 and 800 euros

On the price side, SimplyNUC displays its i5 / 4 GB / 256 GB models at 599 euros, while the i7 / 4 GB / 256 GB versions are available for pre-orders at 779 euros. Note that the OS is to be added by its own means.

However, it will be possible to configure these devices, probably at Intel, to take advantage of more muscular configurations. With 64 GB of RAM and 4 TB of SSD, the i7 vPro version can, on the other hand, exceed 2,000 euros. WCCFTech.
