Less than three months before the marketing of the first wave of these processors So-called 13th generation Intel?
It must be admitted, for the past few days we have been talking a lot about the new Raptor Lake processors from Intel on Clubic. A rhythm that we imagine lasting a little longer, but the information should be more and more solid.
A launch on October 17?
Indeed, the latest rumor concerns neither the name of a new and obscure engraving technique nor an additional “poem” of performance on this or that measurement tool.
Relayed by our colleagues from WCCFTech and better known for its tests of hardware that have not yet been marketed, ECSM-Official specifies that the Raptor Lake CPUs will be marketed on October 17, 2022.
As often, Intel would have planned a launch in two stages. First an official presentation of the chips on September 27-28 at the Intel Innovation event. Then, three weeks later, the official release of processors and motherboards.
An output which will however only concern the “K” series processors of the Raptor Lake-S range, in other words the Core i9-13900K, Core i7-13700K and Core i5-13600K which will be associated with high-level motherboards based on chipsets Z690.
If we are not able to confirm anything, our little finger – it too is not often wrong – tells us that this estimate could well be the right one.
