Technically oriented, the Californian show will highlight the techniques promised by future graphics cards
from Intel.
The different pieces of the puzzle finally seem to have to fit together for Intel, which will therefore take advantage of the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco to present certain graphics technologies.
The technique before the cards
While all observers are waiting to see the ARC Alchemist graphics chips in action, Intel is preparing several technical presentations for the California show.
First, it will thus be a question of detailing the super sampling technique developed by Intel: Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS)—an AI-based Upscaling for Real-Time Rendering seems to have to take the form of a round table with Hisham Chowdhury, Robert Kawiak, Rens de Boer, Gabriel Ferreira and Lucas Xavier.
Organized on March 23 at 9:30 p.m. French time, this session will be followed by a presentation by Holger Gruen called A quick guide to Intel’s ray tracing hardware. It should guide participants through the implementation of ray tracing according to Intel as well as to better understand the “how” and the “why” of its approach.
The following day, March 24, two other presentations will focus on concrete examples with the creators of The Riftbreaker and those of Hitman 3
. A few weeks before the launch – without a specific date – of the first ARC Alchemist cards, seeing Intel take the floor in this way should finally allow us to know a little more.
