The graphics cards Arc Alchemist will not be accompanied by the XeSS solution. Well, not right away.
A few days ago, Intel announced with great fanfare the release of the Arc A-Series, its GPUs for laptops. This is the first wave of Arc Alchemist GPUs with more mobile GPUs due to arrive in June and desktop GPUs expected to follow very quickly.
At least 20 games at launch
Along with announcing its graphics architecture, Intel insisted on a super-sampling technique that will compete with NVIDIA/AMD’s DLSS and FSR, XeSS.
Problem, this XeSS will not be available before the summer if we are to believe the latest details provided by Intel. In fact, the first laptops based on Arc A350M and A370M will obviously not be able to benefit from it immediately, and this, while Intel has widely communicated on the contribution of the technique which combines super-sampling and anti-aliasing.
The question now is whether the XeSS will be released at the same time as Intel’s desktop GPUs. We also hope that Intel will take the opportunity to develop the list of compatible games a little since we are only talking about twenty titles at launch for the moment.
