This year, CES 2024 took place in Las Vegas from January 9th to Friday, January 12th. The tech trade fair represents an international stage for well-known brands as well as up-and-coming startups. Among other things, the renowned manufacturer Ecovacs is also presenting three new products.
Including a new window cleaning robot and a new robotic lawnmower. The highlight, however, is the 2-in-1 cleaning system Deebot X2 Combo, which consists of the award-winning X2 Omni vacuum robot and a cordless vacuum cleaner.

Founded in 1998, Ecovacs has proven to be a pioneer in the industry, particularly in recent years with the development of new, innovative household robots. Especially in its flagship series, the X1 series, Ecovacs raises the bar a little higher, model after model. While initially the focus was on vacuum and mopping robots, the manufacturer expanded its portfolio of robots for outdoor applications, including window cleaning and mowing robots.
Ecovacs has set itself the task of developing intelligent robotics solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life to make life more comfortable. This year, the focus is on the new Deebot X2 Combo cleaning system, which won the 2023-2024 IDG Global Top Brands “Home Cleaning Product Innovation Gold Award”. Below we will introduce you to the new products in more detail.

Last year, Ecovacs brought the Deebot X2 Omni onto the market, which scored a good 8.7 out of 10 possible points in our test. Thanks to the angular design, the device is a little better at cleaning along the edges and in corners; the suction power, mop lifting and maximum threshold height that can be exceeded are better than the competition.
We also noticed the good obstacle detection and very good camera quality for monitoring. We had to deduct points because of the lack of a parking or extension function for the mops. Nevertheless, the Deebot X2 Omni secured a place among the top 5 models in our comparison test of the best robot vacuum cleaners with a suction station.
Since many people still prefer to use a conventional vacuum cleaner, Ecovacs is taking advantage of this opportunity and adding a handheld vacuum cleaner to the already available X2 Omni with the Deebot X2 Combo. This impresses with its lightweight design and comes with various attachments so that you can not only clean the floor, but also furniture, stairs, cars and more.
The X2 Combo features an innovative all-in-one base station with dual dust extraction. Not only is the robot vacuum cleaner charged and emptied, but also the new handheld vacuum cleaner at the same time. The purchase is particularly interesting if you are looking for a high-quality vacuum robot but don’t want to do without a cordless vacuum cleaner. This is particularly recommended in angled apartments with a lot of furniture.

Back in 2018, Ecovacs released its first window cleaning robot, the Winbot X. This year the manufacturer is introducing the latest generation of the Winbot. Like the Winbot W1, the W2 Omni is also equipped with the intelligent edge detection WIN-SLAM 3.0.
The three-nozzle wide-angle spray technology softens dried dirt residue and then wipes it off. The W2 Omni’s stable climbing system has 3-point anti-slip and anti-dust travel steps, which is intended to ensure even more safety.
New to this model is a multifunctional station, which is equipped with fall protection mechanisms and has a built-in battery for mains-independent use indoors and outdoors.
With the Goat GX-600, garden maintenance becomes child’s play
In our big comparison of the best robotic lawnmowers, Ecovacs was able to secure first place with the Goat G1. The new Goat GX-600 is said to impress with the fully automatic lawn mower system that requires no setup or limit settings. This is made possible by the combined vision and SmartMove technology, with which the robotic lawnmower automatically recognizes grass and non-grass areas such as stone pavements and sidewalks.
The Goat GX-600 has an outdoor charging station to which the robotic lawnmower automatically returns when the battery is running low or the mowing job is finished. Note that Ecovacs will initially only release the robot in the United States. It is still unclear whether and, if so, when the robotic lawnmower will also be available in this country.
Price and availability
The availability and prices of the devices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have not yet been announced. They will probably be available directly from the manufacturer and on Amazon in the spring. We’ll keep you up to date with any news.
