Interactive Brokers appoints Jill Bright as a member of its board of directors


Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR), a global automated electronic brokerage, today announced the appointment of Jill Bright as an independent director of the Company, effective immediately.

Ms. Bright, who has more than 30 years of experience, has served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Sotheby’s and Administrative Director at LionTree LLC and Condé Nast. She also served for more than five years in various management positions related to human resources at American Express. In addition, Ms. Bright is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Compensation Committee of WOW Internet & Cable; she also sits on the boards of two private companies, New York-based Simulmedia and Grand Rapids-based Service Express.

With an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, Ms. Bright was named a member of the Quadrennial Advisory Board, tasked with evaluating and making compensation recommendations to City of New York under the leadership of Mayor Bill de Blasio.
