(CercleFinance.com) – InterContinental Hotels publishes, in non-GAAP data, an EPS increase of a third to 3.76 dollars for 2023, as well as an operating profit increased by 23% to 1.02 billion for revenues up 17% to 2.16 billion (+19% underlying).
The hotel chain boasts strong activity with a RevPar (revenue per available room) up 16.1%, driven in particular by China (+71.7%), while its commission margin improved by 3 .4 points at 59.3%.
On this occasion, the British group announces a new share buyback program for $800 million which, with the ordinary dividend, will bring the redistribution to its shareholders to more than $1 billion in 2024.
