Ligue 1: Grosso suffers head injury in bus attack

Coach Fabio Grosso was hit in the head and injured in an attack with stones on the Olympique Lyon team bus before the away game at Marseille. Photos and videos showed the Italian bleeding through the catacombs on Sunday evening. Lyon’s assistant coach Raffaele Longo is also said to have been injured. The game was canceled immediately before kick-off at 8:45 p.m.

Netherlands: Dost collapses during game

Striker Bas Dost collapsed during a Dutch league game and was treated on the pitch for minutes. The game between Alkmaar and Nijmegen was then abandoned.
