Mocked by some and adored by others (who are they?!), Internet Explorer will finally bow out this week. And that’s not a bad thing given his even lower popularity rating than that of a political figure in France.

After 27 years of (not always) good and loyal service, Microsoft’s web browser will disappear definitively this Wednesday, June 15, 2022. The American firm had already announced the news last March by inviting users to turn to Edge without delay. Indeed, the IE11 desktop application will no longer be supported and an automatic redirection to this dear Microsoft Edge will be applied.

We say to him all the same “thank you! » for the nervous breakdowns it gave us with each crash. Good luck friend!

But for the past ten years, Google has been leading the dance with Chrome adopted by nearly two-thirds of Internet users.
