Internet & TV 6 months free: Are the PŸUR tariffs worth it?

“Surfing from 0 € per month” is the name of the current promotion from the Internet provider PŸUR. Of course, that sounds absolutely tempting, even if this discount is only valid for the first 6 months. The tariffs are still worth a look, because who wants to pay a lot for Internet access? Bandwidths of up to 1 Gbit/s are also advertised. In the tariff check we check the offer for you and see if it is really worth it.

Are you dissatisfied with your current Internet provider? Then the offer from PŸUR might be of interest to you! The Internet provider has donned the generous pants and gives you the first 6 months of a new contract. In addition, there are not only Internet tariffs on offer. The combination tariffs, which include Internet, HDTV and an all-network flat rate, are also free for six months. On top of that there is a new router – the FritzBox 6660. The monthly costs of 3 euros per month are also only calculated from the 7th month.

Gamers in particular should be happy about bandwidths of up to 1 gigabit per second. Please note, however, that the availability is not necessarily given in your city. You should therefore check the availability on the PŸUR website in advance. But the lower bandwidths are also very tempting. Thanks to the new Telecommunications Act, since December 1, 2021 you have also been able to cancel contracts that have already been extended on a monthly basis. Are you in the mood for the new Internet? Then let’s take a closer look at what PŸUR has to offer.

PŸUR in the tariff check

In addition to the pure Internet tariffs, the combination tariffs are also free for 6 months. This means that in addition to the Internet offer, you also get HDTV and an all-network flat rate from PŸUR. The promotion is valid until March 28, 2022 and applies to all contracts that you conclude over 24 months. You can choose both the 1 Gbit/s line and the lower bandwidths in the PŸUR tariff.

As you can see, the bandwidths can vary. But that is quite normal with the Internet via cable. However, if you opt for the largest tariff, you should clarify in a discussion with PŸUR whether there will be any additional costs for the provision of the fiber optic network. It is quite possible that the costs mentioned on the website can increase again as a result.

However, if you have the opportunity to take advantage of one of the Internet provider’s tariffs, the campaign is definitely worth it. In comparison, you save up to 348 euros if you opt for the most expensive contract including a router. With the 400 Mbit/s tariff you can still save 264 euros if you don’t want a FritzBox.

In view of the minimal download and upload speeds, I would personally advise you against the cheapest tariff. If your internet is only running at 14 Mbit/s, you can only stream your favorite series in stop motion.
