INTERVIEW. Mikaël Mittelstadt (Here it all begins): “Greg is immediately affected during the accident at the ball”

This week in Here it all begins, the apprentice cooks experience their first prom. Alas, a tragedy occurs: the roof of the room collapses and the consequences are dramatic for certain heroes. Mikaël Mittelstadt (Greg) makes revelations about this intrigue event…

TV Star: In Here it all startsin what state of mind is Greg at the approach of the first ball of the Institute?

Mikael Mittelstadt: At first, he finds that the idea is very American film and he was very mocking vis-à-vis Jasmine (Zoï Sévérin) because developing a whole ball as a ploy to get his crush… It’s a bit a lot ! But he quickly gets caught up in the game like everyone else because it remains a great event.

A tragedy will occur during the evening. What will be the consequences for Greg?

He is one of those who are immediately affected by this accident… and in the long term. This incident happens at prom time but it’s not like we won’t talk about it after. It’s a whole intrigue that happens next and Greg will be very concerned.

Will he be hurt?

Greg will suffer a shock that will require the attention of the firefighters… but nothing very serious! He’s not going to end up in a coma for three years (laughs) Anyway, it’s great because these are new things for me that I hadn’t shot at ITC. It gives a bit of an action movie character with moments of adrenaline to the series.

What will happen to Eliott (Nicolas Anselmo) and Naël?

There is going to be a nanny problem and Eliott is going to have to watch the baby. Naël will in fact be in a room next to the incident so inevitably Eliott will experience all this from another point of view… We will have the perception of the team in the ball and the team outside the ball. Eliott’s dismay will be excessive because he will not understand what is happening while being outside.

At the ball, Greg’s eyes are made up as he used to taunt Eliott about it…

It’s a very subtle little nod. It is the culmination and fulfillment of Greg vis-à-vis this open-mindedness embodied by Eliott and against which Greg was against at the beginning. Little by little, he made his way by testing and experimenting.

Marius, a new gay character, is announced for the summer in Here it all starts. Will he interact with Eliott and Greg?

Absolutely. He arrives and will be directly attached to them in a plot where they will be quite present.

Will Greg’s parents return to the Institute?

Yes. I won’t say more but in any case there will be a comeback (laughs)

Did the departure of Clément Rémiens (Maxime) from the soap scare you in relation to the success of the series?

He was a bit of the referent on whom we relied. Then, we said to ourselves that it was up to us to assume our responsibility as veterans because the new promo is coming… It’s up to us. It was very initiatory in the end for him to leave. We lived like a phase of mourning and we took the rebound.
