Russia is advancing from three sides

During the night, the Russian President announces what the whole world is afraid of. “I made the decision for a military operation,” Vladimir Putin said in a televised address. He justifies his decision with a “genocide” that is allegedly taking place in Ukraine. The Russian invasion begins a little later.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attacks are aimed at “military infrastructure, air defense facilities, military airfields and the air force of the Ukrainian armed forces”. They would be “put out of action with high-precision weapons,” according to Moscow.
Only a little later, the first explosions can be heard in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, in the southern port city of Odessa on the Black Sea near Crimea and, above all, in the border towns in the east of the country. Apparently, Russian troops are also invading northern Ukraine from Belarus.
