A dead woman (91) has been puzzling the Vienna police since Monday evening. The officers were called to the city center for resuscitation, but the emergency doctor could only determine that the elderly woman was dead. Due to the nature of the discovery, investigators cannot rule out foul play.
It was around 6:35 p.m. when the emergency services from the Laurenzerberg police station in downtown Vienna were called to the old lady’s apartment. The emergency doctor from the professional rescue service has already tried to revive the woman – without success. Foul play cannot be ruled out. But the death of the 91-year-old raises questions among the officials. Due to the unusual discovery situation, foul play on the part of the executive could not be completely ruled out. A judicial autopsy was therefore suggested. The Vienna State Criminal Police Office is continuing to investigate.
