Currently, when you sign up for one of the three iCloud+ plans, you can use a custom domain name you already own to customize your iCloud email address. Up to five domains can then be used and you have a maximum of three e-mail addresses per domain. But with the arrival of iOS 16, it will now be possible to go through Cloudflare to search and buy domain names that you can then use as you see fit, all directly from the Mail application on your iPhone. .
As the site tells us XDA Developers, the future version of Apple’s mobile operating system will now have a user interface dedicated to this function. You can then search for domain names from the Mails and then select the one that suits you best. This will automatically redirect you to Cloudflare to complete your purchase.
Still according to the words of XDA Developers, iOS 16 is currently in the beta phase, it may well be that this functionality will not ultimately be integrated into the final version of the OS, expected next fall. Anyway, this is a very practical option for those who simply want to have a more professional email address.
