Since its formalization at WWDC, iOS 16 has already unveiled many secrets. And with the public beta fast approaching our iPhonenow the Apple Translate app supports new languages.

Apple Translate is an alternative to Google Translate. It allows customers of the apple brand to be able to translate text, voices and conversations. Far from being as elaborate as Google’s application in this area, Apple’s translator is still continuing on its merry way and will take advantage of the arrival of iOS 16 to accommodate new languages.

Apple Translate is enriched with new languages

The new version of Apple’s operating system has been in the hands of developers for several weeks. A few days ago, iOS 16 also went into beta 2, bringing with it its share of new features. But during WWDC, the Cupertino company announced that new languages would integrate Apple Translate. And if, until now, the latter remained absent from the OS, the shot has largely been rectified.

For a few days now, the iOS 16 beta has supported the following languages: Turkish, Thai, Polish, Indonesian and Dutch. Among the languages announced, only Vietnamese remains absent from Apple Translate for the moment. It’s probably only a matter of time before this language is added to the app. Finally, also know that these new languages will soon be integrated into iPadOS and macOS.

Remember that the deployment of iOS 16 is expected for the next school year but that it will be accessible to all from July via the public beta.
