iPad Pro, Air and mini: here’s when the next Apple tablets will arrive


The new newsletter Power On was published on April 7, 2024. Mark Gurman once again discusses the long-awaited iPad Pro and iPad Air.

After assuming a launch in March/April, then at the beginning of May, the Bloomberg journalist is now leaning towards the week of May 6.

As a reminder, these next models would be entitled to the following developments:

  • iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 inches:
    • Oled screen;
    • M3 chip;
    • New location for the front camera and Face ID;

    • Apple Pencil 3;

    • Magic Keyboard update;
  • iPad Air:

Mark Gurman points out that iPad Pros should be more expensive than the current generation with M2 chip, exceeding €1,069 for the 128 GB version of the 11-inch model and €1,469 for the 12.9-inch.

Finally, the journalist shared some information on the iPad and iPad mini. The paper actually mentions that these two models would be available “as soon as possible” at the end of 2024, and would not bring any major new features.
