The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have reached early adopters, and Apple’s smartphones aren’t free from particularly annoying bugs.
A photo block that shakes without explanation in video applications
Several owners of Apple’s latest flagship have had the unpleasant surprise of seeing a problem appear on the camera of their high-end smartphone.
When the latter used their iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max to film via applications such as Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok, the video feedback on the screen showed a shaky, blurry and simply unusable image.
Worse still, the photo block of the iPhone began to rattle loudly, as evidenced by numerous videos posted during the weekend on social networks.
A probably software bug, even if Apple does not comment on the situation for the moment
This bug would be of software origin since it apparently only affects third-party applications. Users affected by the issue all report that the situation is back to normal by using the iPhone Camera app. It would therefore seem that Apple has made many software changes with its new 48-megapixel photo unit. Publishers will need to quickly update their apps to fix the issue.
It is still surprising that Apple did not warn the developers of modifications of this kind which could, at worst, damage the device in the event of prolonged use of the applications concerned. Users who have complained to the brand’s after-sales service also indicate that the latter will not send a replacement iPhone for the moment, as it does not currently have enough stocks for this.
Contacted on the subject, Apple has for the moment walled in silence and refuses to comment on the situation. We hope for the happy owners of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max that the manufacturer will very quickly deliver a patch to solve the problem and allow them to use their very expensive smartphones as they see fit.
