When the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are delivered, the electronic button is still used to mute your Apple smartphone. You can also use it to open the camera app, record a voice memo or turn on the flashlight with one touch.

Translation feature coming “later in the year”

Especially practical on vacation: You can activate the iPhone’s translation function with just one press using the action button. This will then be displayed in the Dynamic Island and you can start speaking immediately. On the Apple website, however, there is a small asterisk at this point with the note: “The translation function will come later in the year”.

It is not known why Apple obviously needs a little more time to implement this feature. But we are very sure that this shortcut will be very practical in everyday life and on vacation.
