Release: When will the iPhone 15 appear?
Apple fans can usually answer this question quickly themselves, because the manufacturer from Cupertino usually presents new iPhone generations in autumn. With the exception of the iPhone SE, this has always been the case in recent years. And so this year we expect the iPhone 15 around September 12th will appear.

What will the iPhone be called in 2023?
Similar to the currently available iPhone 14 generation, we expect that Apple will call the fall 2023 innovations iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. There are no rumors about an iPhone 15 Mini. Similar to the Apple Watch Ultra, an iPhone 15 Ultra is under discussion.
What is the difference between iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra?
It is quite possible that the iPhone 15 Ultra is in principle the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple could use this to differentiate the “big” iPhone model from the iPhone 15 Pro. There is talk of a better camera system, namely a periscope camera.
Will the new iPhone finally have a USB-C port?
Yes, that is to be expected. Apple has already indicated the switch from Lightning to USB-C with a view to an EU decision. The manufacturer will probably make differences between the normal iPhone 15 variants and the two Pro models. What is known about the camera of the iPhone 15?
There have been rumors for some time that Apple is working on a camera with periscope lens technology. That would promise higher optical zoom. A 10x optical zoom is under discussion for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
There are many indications that Apple is once again working closely with Sony on camera development. How will the design of the iPhone 15?
We assume that at least the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max (Ultra) will have the dynamic notch (Dynamic Island). There is also talk that Apple will put its hands on the physical buttons, which could result in a different case design.

Price: How much will the iPhone 15 cost?
So far, we can only speculate about the price of the iPhone 15. Since there was a price increase as part of the iPhone 14 launch, we assume that Apple will not raise prices significantly in 2023. Speaking for Germany, the following recommended prices could apply, analogous to the iPhone 14 series: iPhone 15: from 999 euros. iPhone 15 Plus: from 1,149 euros. iPhone 15 Pro: from 1,299 euros. iPhone 15 Pro Max: from 1,449 euros.
According to a leaker, Apple is said to be based on the iPhone 5C when designing the housing, but using a titanium frame. If this is the case, a price increase can be expected, since the material is very expensive. The well-known insider LeaksApplePro claims to have learned that there is a largest price increase in the history of the iPhone expected as Apple struggles with lower margins and inflation.
