It is imminent, Apple will increase its prices for the replacement of the batteries of its devices.

This concerns the iPhone, of course, but also the iPad and Mac ranges.

Apple and its price increases…

Very recently, Apple discreetly lowered the prices for taking back iPhones as part of its Trade In offer. At the same time, the American giant not only decided to inflate the price of its latest iPhones, but also, in a few days, to increase the battery replacement prices.

Indeed, at the very beginning of this year 2023, Apple announced an upcoming price increase for battery replacement. Also, if your iPhone begins to show the weight of the years in terms of autonomy, it would be good to request a replacement without delay… because later, it will be too late.

Last deadline before increase!

It is very officially from the 1er next March that the new Apple prices will come into effect. The good news is that the price of replacing the battery of an iPhone 14 will remain unchanged, you will still have to pay 119 euros to take advantage of a new battery.

However, for older iPhones (up to iPhone 5S), out-of-warranty battery service charges will increase by $24. From the iPhone X range to the iPhone 13 range, the price today set at 75 euros will rise to 99 euros from the 1er March.

As for the iPhone 5S, and up to the iPhone 8 and iPhone SE, the price currently set at 55 euros will be inflated to 79 euros.

But the iPhone range is not the only one affected by this increase, since this will also be the case for the iPad. For all eligible models, the increase will be 40 euros, i.e. a price of 149 euros on the 1er March (against 109 euros currently). As for MacBook computers, the repair will also be increased by 36 to 60 euros, depending on the model. So you know what you have to do.
