Apple is therefore releasing a new iPhone SE (for special edition in English) which intends to be an “entry-level” model for smartphones with the apple logo. Sold for 529 euros, the device takes up the design of the previous iPhone SE which had no notch, a small disappointment for those who thought they would finally see this emblematic detail of the models launched since the iPhone X in 2017.

But the iPhone SE 2022 nevertheless inherits solid arguments, with first of all the A15 Bionic chip, the same that equips the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro and considered one of the most powerful in the world on smartphones. A 4.7-inch Retina HD Display screen is displayed on the front, above the ever-present Home button to unlock this model via your fingerprint. So no Face ID.

It also receives the same glass shells as the iPhone 13, on the front and on the back. Autonomy is also promised as better. Above all, it will be the first 5G iPhone SE in the range. A 12 Mpixel sensor equips the rear unit and relies on the image processing of the A15 Bionic chip. The device comes with iOS 15 like its big brothers in the iPhone 13 family released last September. It will be available on March 18 and pre-orders are open.

60% more powerful than the previous generation iPad Air and a GPU twice as fast. Here is the main evolution of the iPad Air version 2022 and it is already a lot, because it receives the famous M1 chip signed Apple which equips the iPad Pro sold more expensively.

The iPad Air 2022 benefits from a new ultra-wide-angle camera on the front, while the size of the 10.9-inch screen remains the same as its predecessor. However, its quality is better, with in particular a brighter rendering. If a Wifi version is still planned, mobile users can also bet on a 5G / Wi-Fi version as well. It should be noted that the Apple Pencil 2 is still compatible for the most creative.

It will also be launched on March 18 and pre-orders will be open from Friday March 11. Prices start here from 699 euros for the WiFi version, and 899 euros for the 5G version.

The M1 Ultra chip is fitted to the new Mac Studio, depending on the configurations chosen. A monster equipped with 114 billion transistors. If the explanations provided by Apple demonstrate the superiority of this technology to manage large amounts of calculations, also remember that it is undoubtedly the processor “the most powerful on a personal computer”, says Apple. All based on a technology that uses less energy and therefore consumes less battery power. Apple had also demonstrated a doubling of the autonomy of its MacBooks, even managing to operate a MacBook Air M1 for 20 hours without being recharged.

Applied to desktop computers such as the Mac Studio in particular, the M1 Ultra chip pushes the experience a step above. This computer nevertheless remains a product intended for professionals and creative people who wish to rely on impressive computing power in order to manage memory-intensive software and very heavy content (3D, 4K and 8K content, graphics and editing software. ..). We are still talking about a computer at 4,599 euros in its most powerful configuration … without a screen.

A new screen called Studio Display was also presented during this keynote. The latter, calibrated for professionals, is 27 inches and has a 12 Mpixel camera. It can be paired with all Apple computers on the market. This high-end screen is offered at a price of 1,749 euros.
