Iran: Explosions reported near Suleimani tribute ceremony


DUBAI, Jan 3 (Reuters) – Two explosions injured several people on Wednesday near the cemetery in Kerman, southeastern Iran, where a ceremony in memory of former Al Quds Force chief Qassem Suleimani was taking place , killed on January 3, 2020 by an American strike at Baghdad airport, reports Iranian public television.

The semi-official Nournews agency said several gas canisters had exploded on the road leading to the cemetery. “The relevant authorities are monitoring the situation,” she added.
