A short video filmed overnight by a mobile phone and posted on social media shows a squad of riot police on motorcycles beating and kicking a man lying in an alley. Surrounded by a dozen officers in uniform and cap, the man initially tries to cover his head with his hands; the police continue to beat him while their colleagues watch the scene.
