After meeting in 2018, Iris Mittenaere and Diego El Glaoui, it was only a year later that the businessman and the ex-Miss France who became an influencer gave themselves a chance to live a story of ‘love. Speaking to Femme Actuelle, Diego El Glaoui remembered this memorable meeting with the former Miss Universe, during the preview of her show at the Paradis Latin: “My first impression is his doe eyes. He has eyelashes, it’s not normal to have eyelashes that long! He has eyelashes that every woman would dream of having, I was shocked by his soft and cute look. I was very moved and impressed to see a young woman with so much courage and so much confidence, capable of monopolizing attention in front of a room of 1,000 people. I said to myself, who is this girl, wow, it’s impressive”.
They had since gotten engaged during a trip to Italy. A few months later, the couple finally separated. Friday May 10, 2024, Iris Mittenaere announced that she had broken up with Diego El Glaoui, on her Instagram account: “It is with great kindness and respect that we must announce to you that Diego and I have decided to take different paths. After more than 4 years of love, life has pushed us apart, but we will always keep in mind us all these beautiful adventures that we have experienced and shared. We ask you to kindly respect this decision, and to welcome it with as much kindness as that which we have for each other Even if our paths today. “If we go our separate ways, we will always support each other and be there for each other every step of the way.”
