We stopped counting the number of days without real new content on New World. Between recycling with mutations, bug fixes and various improvements, only the Nether Gauntlet has been a real novelty on the Amazon Games MMO since its release.
As the players yelled at the communications teams to be a little more engaging in their ways of communicating, last night a post Twitter appeared. This one says very clearly that this is a teaser, but taken out of context so the community can rack their brains. In this article, we will focus and speculate on a single image: that ofIsabelle.
Finally the arrival of a new dungeon on New World?
The image presented in the tweet indicates nothing, apart from Isabella who will be the center of attention for this month of March. In New World lore, she is known to have escaped from the Dynasty Shipyard as soon as the situation was not in her favour. The latter leaves us with these two adorable lions, Joven and Oro, adorable companions…
The developers have repeatedly notified that new dungeons will come over time, but no information has been given, until m4rx once again finds interesting information about a potential dungeon, which by “chance” concerns Isabella.
The arrival of a new dungeon seems ideal for New World, because the new region does not seem ready to open its doors to players yet and after a good month without content, it is true that players are starting to get tired of the MMO.
Isabella’s Lair, the next expedition?
As we told you just before m4rx, a fairly reliable leaker, has found a cutscene featuring Isabella since December. We learn a little more about the lore and new antagonists (or protagonists) present themselves to us. This cinematic is enigmatic, because it seems to show the genesis of New World, as the story had not really started. Which is rather strange when you see how far we’ve come.
In its search, m4rx found the name of the cutscene: Judgment of the Storm (Tempest Reckoning). And this one seems to activate once the dungeon is over and it is theIsabella’s Lair (Isabella’s Lair).
The continuation of the story with this character seems logical, because after fleeing the Dynasty Shipyard and the defeat of his ally Zhou Taiying, it would seem logical that the continuation of our adventure within Aeternum is done towards Isabella, who must have cowered in his lair. High Chaos Mountain seems like the right place for Isabella’s dungeon to appear, as she has become something of an Empress of the Corrupted. Many areas within Myrkgard appear to show portals that could accommodate a dungeon, so spawning a new expedition to this area would not be impossible.
But if it wasn’t a dungeon, what would it be?
If there is no question of a dungeon, it would necessarily be a shame on the part of AGS, because the game lacks content. Weariness has set in and a dungeon would help revive the little flame that players have for New World. However, in the event that a dungeon really does not appear, a new series of HL quests could be possible, guiding us to Isabella. This series of quests would be able to flesh out the history of Aeternum and help us to better unseal the secrets around this woman who was driven by the thirst for power.
But again, this type of content would be really minimal for the 6 months of New World.
Even if we really want Isabella’s Lair to appear as a new expedition, only time can tell the truth. The New World teams are currently in a teasing phase, so let’s wait to see what they have to offer us before delighting us with any idea. Do not forget that this article is purely speculative and results from various researches made upstream. Because of this, nothing is really valid at the moment, unfortunately.
