In the world of video games, a recruitment announcement allows you to retrieve a lot of information on upcoming projects. And it may well be that a very recent one of them could give a clue to the future of the Gears saga. Indeed, the Canadian studio The Cohalition is looking for a technician specializing in motion capture.
Gears 6 on the way?
The title is rather clear “Motion Capture Technician – Gears of War – The Coalition” and the description leaves little doubt:

Little details
In the announcement it also talks about the Unreal Engine 5 and surprise, The Coalition announced last year to pass several of these new games under the famous engine Unreal Engine 5. So obviously it can be another Gears game than Gears 6 itself, but there is still a good chance that the long-awaited title is on the way.
