Between Chiara Mastroianni and Christophe Honoré, it’s a long story. With Marcello Mio, they are working together for the seventh time but for this project, the actress slips into the shoes of her own father, the Italian Marcello Mastroianni.
A story about an identity crisis and an affiliation, the film features the different actors in their own roles. Among them: Melvil Poupaud, Benjamin Biolay, Fabrice Luchini, Nicole Garcia and Catherine Deneuve, the mother of Chiara Mastroianni.

What remains is a sort of fetishistic reverie, in the footsteps of great films of the past. The film takes place half at night, and it is underlit, hence the softness of the image, which is quite ugly..”
