Samsung presents its new screens: Rollable Flex and Flex In & Out
First, the Rollable Flex was introduced. It’s a 12.4-inch OLED screen whose main feature is its ability to roll up and down, just like you would a scroll. It could more precisely go from 5 to 25 cm in length. According to Samsung’s statements, this technology ” aims to revolutionize the portability of tablets and laptops “.
Screens of this type have already been presented in the past by other manufacturers. Wanting to go further, Samsung has also unveiled its Flex In & Out. This would be the very first OLED screen capable of folding 360 degrees, both inwards and outwards, as its name suggests. The latter, on the other hand, would only be designed for smartphones, which could then significantly lose weight and size.
Obviously, and even if the Rollable Flex seems in a rather advanced state, it is for the moment only concepts.
