The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is cross-saving available?
First of all, remember that the so-called “cross-save” feature, also called cross-progression, allows players to recover their save(s) from a very specific platform in order to import them into another version of a game. This then allows you to keep your progress intact and not lose your advancement. A multitude of games support cross-save, like Stardew Valley or Destiny 2, to name just two examples.
But is this the case with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is good cross-save. This feature was introduced in the year 2020, especially through the 3.6 update.
However, be aware that to recover your saves from one of the game platforms, you must first place your files in the Cloud. In addition, you must not have changed the name of said backups on PC, if you want to recover them on Nintendo Switch, for example.
