In the winter sports strongholds of Ischgl and St. Anton am Arlberg, thieves struck in sports shops. The men were after high-priced winter jackets. However, the perpetrators were filmed in one of the shops.
On Wednesday afternoon, the owner of a sports shop in St. Anton reported the theft of two high-quality winter jackets with a total value of more than a thousand euros. According to video surveillance recordings, the crime was committed around 12 p.m. Two men had grabbed their jackets and fled with them. In the course of the police investigation, it quickly became clear that St. Anton was not the only crime scene where the duo was active. A designer jacket worth more than a thousand euros was also stolen from a sports shop in Ischgl. According to the police, the same perpetrators were at work in Ischgl and St. Anton. So far they have not been caught.
