He notably compared Hamas to the “Nazis”: “they are terrorists who want the extermination of the Israeli people but even more so of the Jews.” “The Palestinians demand to be rid of Hamas which prevents them from being able to live in peace with the Israelis,” he continues.
Prohibition on demonstrations in Nice
On the pediment of Nice town hall, the Israeli flag has been flying since October 7. Pro-Palestinian demonstrations are banned every week in Nice and the mayor welcomes this: “I thank the prefect for systematically issuing orders prohibiting demonstrations supposedly in the name of the Palestinian cause.”

The mayor of Nice also believes that some are trying to “trivialize the acts of Hamas by talking about Palestine, that is not the subject.” “The State of Israel was created in 1948 after the Holocaust.
