Israeli strike hits car with UN observers

BEIRUT, March 30 (Reuters) – An Israeli strike hit a vehicle carrying United Nations observers outside the southern Lebanese border town of Rmeish on Saturday, two security sources told Reuters.

There was no immediate comment from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon, which accompanies observers tasked with monitor the current demarcation line between Lebanon and Israel, known as the Blue Line.
