The conflict between Hamas and Israel is intensifying day by day. While the IDF regularly bombs the area, the war is also played out in terms of communication. The Israeli army and the Islamist group blame each other for certain bombings. But the IDF does not hesitate to recognize its attacks either.
The fighting is intensifying on the ground in Gaza, but also on the communications level. On social networks, Hamas and the IDF regularly blame each other for certain strikes. The latest example, the missile which struck the French institute in Gaza, where the AFP offices are located.
The IDF thus denies having deliberately targeted the building housing the press agency, nevertheless explaining that it had carried out a strike nearby. Fortunately, the French media had evacuated its teams to the south of the Gaza Strip several days ago.
Material intended for Hamas in humanitarian aid trucks?
The IDF, however, admitted to having targeted an ambulance, but explained that the vehicle was transporting members of Hamas, which the Palestinian terrorist movement denies. The Israeli army each time justifies its strikes by the presence of terrorists hiding among civilians. And Israeli and American intelligence services have claimed that Hamas has sought to evacuate some of its members over the past two days via humanitarian convoys passing through the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt.
According to them, a third of the wounded in the ambulances were Hamas terrorists. They were blocked at the border. Israeli inspectors also say they discovered, hidden in an aid truck, several oxygen concentrators intended to ventilate the tunnels used by Hamas in Gaza. And this is the difficulty of controlling this humanitarian aid which passes between Egypt and Gaza.
