Following the success of the Monsieur Cuisine Connect robot, the Lidl chain of stores will launch Monsieur Cuisine Smart. It should arrive in stores before Christmas 2021.
The famous chain of Lidl stores has just announced the upcoming release of a new food processor: the Monsieur Cuisine Smart. After the Monsieur Cuisine Connect box, Lidl is relying on a new tool to help you prepare your favorite dishes. It will be available in all stores from Monday, December 6, 2021. As with all Lidl household products, the robot will be available in limited quantities. According to information of Business Insider, only 180,000 will go on sale.
How much will it cost? You will have to pay 399 euros to get it. A price that has increased compared to that of Monsieur Cuisine Connect which was 359 euros. One of the reasons Lidl has been keen to launch a new robot is that its old model has been the subject of complaints. Indeed, the Vorwerk brand, creator of the famous Thermomix, had filed a complaint against Lidl indicating that they had copied many aspects of their robot, which sold much more expensive.
New features for the Lidl robot
More powerful, Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine Smart also comes with a range of new features. First, its design changes. It is more convenient to store in the kitchen thanks to its more compact shape. It is also connected and smart, that is to say that you can control it with Google Home for example. In addition, you can make a shopping list to help you in your preparations. It also has a new ergonomic handle. Soups, casseroles and desserts are yours! Lidl told Business Insider that more copies will be available during the year 2022.
