It starts today: Sabine Paturel’s rant against Faustine Bollaert


This Tuesday, March 15, Faustine Bollaert received on the set of Ca begins today several names of the song at the origin of cult titles that have crossed the ages. Among them, Sabine Paturel, the interpreter of Bêtises, who uttered a rant on the reverse side of this success.

They were invited this Tuesday on Faustine Bollaert’s set to discuss their experience. Among them, we also found Sabine Paturel, the unforgettable interpreter of Bêtises. “I ate all the chocolate… I just do stupid things when you’re not around”...words that still resonate today in the minds of many French people, of course, but which also tend to overshadow the singer’s other works. “Every time I get on the radio, it’s: ‘Ah well, you sing Les Bêtises. Yes, yes of course, we will talk about your new title, but who cares about your new title. You sing Les Bêtises”laments Sabine Paturel, tired of being constantly reminded of her success in the 1980s. She continues: “That feeds me, because it locks me up. We can’t get out of it.“If the singer would like us to be more interested in other works of her career, she does not sulk the notoriety that the Bêtises brought her. “It’s a double-edged sword. It’s great to have that and we’re happy to have it because it’s extraordinary. We do concerts in front of 5000 people, so it’s great. But, to release something else, hello the media!she explains.

Sabine Paturel: her title Les Bêtises is a hit on TikTok

When we told you that Les Bêtises has crossed the ages, it’s to the point of meeting success on TikTok. This social network adored by Generation Z is full of videos illustrating Sabine Paturel’s song; a feat for a hit released when most TikTok users weren’t born. “We are at 36,000 videos, I do not understand what is happening. I am hallucinated, I am amazed. I get notifications every day, ‘we love you, we love you, we love you‘. Young people who weren’t even born at the time of the Bêtises. I find it surreal. It’s awesome“, confides the singer.
