After having maintained a relationship with rapper Coolio and then ex-boxer Mike Tison, Afida Turner married, in 2007, Ronnie Turner, the son of Tina and Ike Turner, becoming the daughter-in-law of the interpreter of The Best. After her marriage to Ronnie Turner, Afida Turner starts a new life in the United States and establishes a privileged relationship with her mother-in-law. Afida Turner learned of the death of his mother-in-law as she prepared to climb the steps of the Cannes Film Festival. On his account instagramshe immediately reacted: “I was just talking about you 5 minutes ago, before it happened, in Nice. I know how much she loved the south of France. Rest in Peace, Stepmother, with Craig and Ronnie“, she wrote. On the set of TPMPAfida Turner said she last saw her mother-in-law at the funeral of the rock ‘n’ roll star’s eldest son, Craig, who died in 2018. “It was complicated,” she said revealed. The former reality TV contestant also shared the good times with her mother-in-law: “The best moments with Tina were in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat“.

On the set of TPMP, Afida Turner confided her sadness. Last December, the young woman had to overcome the death of Ronnie Turner, with whom she was separated but from whom she had never divorced. “There was Coolio, there was Ronnie and now, Tina, in six months. It’s a lot“, she explained. Afida Turner reflected on the day she discovered the body of her brother-in-law, Craig Turner, who shot himself in the head in 2018 at the age of 59. She revealed that she, herself, discovered the body.”It’s not easy to manage.
