On the occasion of the broadcast of season 15 of “Scènes de Ménages” this Monday evening on M6, Gérard Hernandez (Raymond) told how the filming of the series took place without Marion Game (Huguette).
After two months of absence, Scènes de Ménages is making its big comeback on M6 this Monday, August 28 from 8:30 p.m. for a new season with a particular flavor. It will indeed be the first burst of episodes to have been shot without Marion Game, who died last March at the age of 84. It will therefore now be without Huguette that Raymond will have to evolve.
Because despite the death of his playing partner, Gérard Hernandez has chosen to continue the adventure Scènes de Ménages solo. “I thought I was going to leave, because I couldn’t imagine Raymond without Huguette”, entrusted the actor to our colleagues from Entertainment TV.
But it was without counting on the production team who did everything to keep the character in the series. “I didn’t have to think about it because the team didn’t want to let me go. They told me: ‘You stay, we’ll manage’. I found it very nice”.
The writers therefore had to rack their brains so that Raymond would not find himself alone in his apartment. Their solution: 5 game partners who will give the nonagenarian a hard time. Gérard Hernandez will thus give the reply to Patrick Préjean, who plays Jacky, a former acolyte of the gendarmerie who has just been left by his wife, but also Gérard Loussine, Nadia Roz, Charline Paul and Gérard Chaillou.
Of course, returning to film sets without Marion Game was not easy for Gérard Hernandez. “It was very strange. She was always there, without really being there…” he explained to our colleagues.
“It was hard to find myself in our apartment without her. Memories came flooding back. Inevitably, my heart was heavy. We had become this couple whose wickedness hides an immense tenderness and a great love. It all spilled over into our own lives. I had two families: my real wife and my Huguette. I miss his presence.“
For the time being, we do not yet know how the disappearance of Marion Game will be mentioned in the new episodes of Scènes de Ménages. The artistic producer of the series, however, explained that the character of Huguette would be mentioned in the next bonus. To be continued…
