On Saturday August 6, 2022, 23-year-old Megan Newborough was murdered by the man she was dating. A few hours after the fact, his murderer sent him a terrible voice message.
It is a terrible story that took place on Saturday August 6 in Leicestershire, England. That night, Megan Newborougha 23-year-old woman, goes to see Ross McCullam, a 30-year-old man with whom she was having “some kind of relationship” for just over a year, as reported The SunMonday, December 12.
Between 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., the man would have entered a “volcanic rage” while he had a sexual relationship with the young woman. He would then have strangled before him cut the throat and get rid of his body. Indeed, Ross McCullan would have dragged the body of Megan Newborough in his car, before throw her in the undergrowth, to get rid of his phone and try to cover his tracks. His body was found two days later.
The alleged murderer left a terrible voicemail for his victim
In an attempt to go unnoticed, the 30-year-old man first sent a text to the young woman, saying “You are amazing“a few minutes after killing him. A few hours later, he left her a voice messageI of 30 seconds. “Hi baby, it’s Ross. I’m just worried about you. You didn’t call back or, you know, you didn’t text me or anything. (..) Probably asleep. I’m just worried, that’s all. I had fun earlier. Anyway, I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you… oh… I didn’t say that. Oh ****” did he declare joking in the voicemail.
If he tried to cover his tracks, Ross McCullan was finally arrested and tried by the court of Leicester, before recognizing the facts. He explained that he had cut his throat of his victim 14 times in order to “make sure“that she was indeed dead, that he then looked pornographic videos as well as information about serial killers after they murdered him. The suspected killer was later convicted of murder and is expected to receive his sentencing on Friday, December 16.
