“It was supposed to be simple”: Schwarzenegger’s most dangerous stunt was this one, and he almost ended up doing it!

In his latest book, Arnold Schwarzenegger discusses what he considers to be the most dangerous stunt of his career. And surprise, it comes from one of his lesser known films!

We no longer present Arnold Schwarzenegger, a true icon of action cinema with countless muscular performances to his credit in the Terminator and Expendables sagas, Conan the Barbarian, Predator and True Lies. A star who, obviously, has performed multiple stunts throughout his prolific career. But what was the most dangerous? The bodybuilder actor recently gave the answer!

It is in the pages of his latest work, entitled Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life, as Schwarzie reveals his most dangerous stunt. According to him, it comes from At the dawn of the 6th day, a SF film that we recently told you were very good about.

“In At dawn of the 6th dayI probably did my most dangerous stunt”says Arnold Schwarzenegger in comments relayed by Deadline. “It was supposed to be simple, a scene where I’m swimming. But there was a cover over the pool. I was supposed to come out the same place I came in, but when I turned around, I started running out of air.”

“I couldn’t find my way out, I tried to stay as calm as possible but I knew I didn’t have much time left”continues the American actor. “Luckily, Billy Lucas, my stunt double, realized what was happening and came to save me.”

Schwarzenegger refused this film opposite Sean Connery, and today it is his “biggest regret”
