This Friday, October 28, Nagui was a guest on France Info, on the occasion of the broadcast of a special issue of Taratata devoted to the fight against cancer the next day. During the interview, the host notably mentioned the end of his career in radio and television. The opportunity for him to slip a small tackle to his colleague on France 2, Michel Drucker.
Almost time for retirement Nagui ? For several years, the host has been present on all fronts, whether on TV or on the radio. It is thus found daily in The Original Band on France Inter and in Do not forget the words on France 2. The husband of Mélanie Page is also at the helm of Taratata and Telethon during their broadcast on the public service. A job that pays because today Nagui is one of the favorite presenters of the French. But is it still ready to stack up for many more years?
This Friday, October 28, the host of France was questioned on this subject during an interview granted to France Info. “Can the radio, for example, continue ad vitam aeternam?“, asked Laurent Valière. “Certainly not ad vitam aeternam, no, no!”then replied Nagui, before adding: “It would be unfortunate, first for the listeners, and then unfortunate for those who have the appetite and who have the energy and the ideas in any case to propose programs. As long as, precisely, the pleasure will be there – and the pleasure, as in a couple, must be on both sides – as long as there is this freshness, I will continue”.

The host of Don’t forget the lyrics then took the opportunity to gently make fun of Michael Druckerstill present on the air despite his 80 years: “But if you want me to say that one day I will be sitting on a sofa with a dog next to me, I answer you right away, it will be ‘no’“.
Nagui nevertheless clarified that he had “some idea of the date“of his future retirement.”Because a moment ago, first of all, Carpe Diem too: I have a little want to have moments of leisure and relaxation”, he confided, without revealing this important date for him, but also for the viewers who have been following him for years.
