Italo spaceship – Aehra SUV: wing doors all around and record display

After photos of the exterior design, the new car brand Aehra is now also showing the first pictures of the interior of its electric SUV. The screens could hardly be bigger.

In the new BMW 7 Series, you can also order a 31.3-inch screen for the rear seats, and the new car brand Aehra has a megascreen for the front: the Italians are equipping their electric SUV announced for 2025 with a giant display that is variable in size , which extends over the entire width of the dashboard. When the vehicle is parked, the large display moves up from the dashboard and significantly enlarges its display area. It can be used as a large screen for office applications or as a cinema screen. When driving, the display retracts again. Driving-relevant information is then displayed in the left area, navigation instructions in the middle and entertainment content on the right. There are also smaller displays for the digital exterior mirrors on the left and right edges. There is also a touchscreen in the center of the dashboard to the right of the rectangular steering wheel, which serves as a user interface for vehicle and infotainment functions. Physical switches and buttons are largely omitted. The Italians will offer their e-SUV, which costs between 160,000 and 180,000 euros, in a four- or five-seat configuration. The bottom is flat throughout. For the seating, Aehra relies on sports leather seats for the necessary lateral support, which also seems appropriate in view of the 550 kW/748 hp to 600 kW/816 hp.
