Ingredients:

  • 300 g ground almonds
  • 200 g chocolate (60 – 70 percent cocoa content)
  • 200 grams of butter
  • 5 eggs (organic, size M)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven.
  2. Line the entire springform pan (side and bottom) with baking paper.
  3. Roughly chop the chocolate.
  4. Then melt the butter in a water bath and let it cool down a bit.
  5. Separate the eggs.
  6. Beat the egg white stiff.
  7. Beat the yolk. Gradually add the sugar until the mixture is very creamy.
  8. Now fold into the melted chocolate together with the ground almonds.
  9. Now carefully fold in the egg white.
  10. Pour the batter into the springform pan and bake at 180°C for 50 minutes.

Then dust with powdered sugar and serve.
