VSface change for the next season of the show 50 minutes inside. The sports journalist Isabelle Ithurburu, who officiated on Channel Rugby Club, will leave the airwaves of Canal + to replace Nikos Aliagas on the show people.
The presenter, already known for her passion for the oval ball, will have the task of consolidating TF1’s rugby offer, the channel announced on Tuesday, May 23. Thus, in addition to 50 minutes insideevery Saturday at the end of the day, the host will take the lead of the magazine for the Rugby World Cup, organized in France from September 8 to October 28.
Isabelle Ithurburu “will quickly become a familiar face and very popular with TF1 viewers”, hoped Ara Aprikian, deputy general manager of the TF1 group in charge of content, quoted in a press release. On the one hand, she will be able to “bring her touch and her qualities as an interviewer to our emblematic magazine 50 minutes inside », he hoped. On the other hand, his arrival marks TF1’s desire to position itself “over the long term in the coverage of major rugby events” and therefore to “build a team that is part of the long term”, underlined the manager. .
LCI loses one face, but gains another
Holder of the rights to the World Cup, TF1 sold 28 matches to the France Télévisions and M6 groups. The first channel will broadcast “the most beautiful posters” of the competition (20 matches in all), including the France-New Zealand opening match and the final. After the World Cup, TF1 will also broadcast the 2024 and 2025 autumn tours of Les Bleus, playing on the ground usually occupied by France Télévisions. For its part, Canal+ sent Isabelle Ithurburu “a big thank you for these fourteen years of collaboration”. “You will remain one of the faces of the Canal+ group”, assured the channel in this message on Twitter.

Nikos Aliagas had indicated at the end of April that he was going to stop 50 minutes inside, which he has presented for sixteen years, in order to concentrate on the new seasons of star Academy And The Voice, Saturday evening. Born in 1983 in Pau, Isabelle Ithurburu began her career as a journalist in 2009 on Infosport+, before joining Canal+, where she presented rugby day and the Channel Rugby Club. Apart from rugby, she presented the weekly magazine there The Tubededicated to the media, from 2016 to 2018, then the society magazine Good evening ! in 2018 and 2019.
TF1 had already announced on Monday the upcoming arrival on its LCI news channel of one of the faces of BFMTV, Jean-Baptiste Boursier. On the side of TMC, an emblematic figure of the small screen will appear at the start of the school year on the show Daily.
